A starboard broadside view of the Canadian Pacific Steamships cruise ship Montrose (1922) at anchor off Funchal, Madeira. Her port anchor is deployed and she is dressed overall. A few local boats are gathered near the sterm and some are alongside amidships. the ship is flying the Blue Peter from the port yardarm on the foremast. The emulsion has some spots on it.
