On board the ocean weather ship Weather Reporter (1944) while in the James Watt Dock, Greenock. The ship's cook is standing at the head of the gangway. A Weather Reporter notice board by the gangway reads "Ship sails at 1000 Tues 6th, leave ends 0900 Tuesday." The ship sailed from Greenock at 10.00 on Tuesday 6th (February or March) 1962 for a 24 day deployment in the North Atlantic.
