On board the ocean weather ship Weather Reporter (1944) while in the James Watt Dock, Greenock. The cook is standing at the head of the gangway and a Weather Reporter notice board reads "Ship sails at 1000 Tues 6th. Leave expires at 0900 Tuesday.". The ship sailed from Greenock at 10.00 on Tuesday 6th (February or March) 1962 for a 24 day deployment in the North Atlantic. A vertical format negative.
