On board the ocean weather ship Weather Reporter (1944) while berthed in the James Watt Dock, Greenock. The photographer is looking at two long cistern gauges fitted to an internal bulkhead. Between the gauges is an advertising piece with the wording "Whatever the weather, today they go for Bulmer's Cider" above a pair of wheeled bathing huts, one of which is named "Dry" and the other is named "Wet". The ship sailed from Greenock at 10.00 on Tuesday 6th (February or March) 1962 for a 24 day deployment.
