On board the ocean weather ship Weather Reporter (1944) in the James Watt Dock, Greenock. The photographer is looking forward from the starboard side of the bridge deck as the ship moves slowly ahead, bound out for her Atlantic station. The ship sailed from Greenock at 10.00 on Tuesday 6th (February or March) 1962 for a 24 day deployment. Various cargo vessels are in the dock including an EC2-S-C1 Liberty ship in ballast.
