Thermometer
Box of two thermometers. This object consists of a wooden box with a lock but no key. In ink on the outside of the lid reads "A 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9" with 4, 7 and ? crossed out. Inside only 2 thermometers are left - labelled A8 and A9 though there are spaces for the full set. Each thermometer is circa 520mm in length with a glass ball of mercury at the bottom and a scale engraved in red onto the glass of 0-180 (no units mentioned) with every degree marked and every 5 labelled (5 on one side of the scale 10 on the other). Each thermometer has a paper label attached to it with string reading A8 or A9.
