Box of four graduated mercury thermometers. This object consists of a wooden box with a lock but no key. On the outside of the lid of this box read "Box D". Inside are a full set of thermometers in a custom made fitted box. At either end the thermometers are covered in green felt. The thermometers are labelled, front to back "2 Round" "3 Round" "4 Round" "5 Round" "6 Round" "Round 3 notches top" "Round 2 notches top" "Round 1 notch top (b)" "Round 1 notch top (a)". The scales on the first 5 are 0-145 in red, the scales for the other 4 are 0-130 in black. Each thermometer is circa 450mm in length.
