On board the coastal minelayer Plover (1937) under way during a minelaying exercise in Stokes Bay, The Solent. The photographer is on the port side of the forecastle looking aft and up showing the wheelhouse and foremast above the bridge deck . An RDF frame aerial is fitted to the front of the bridge deck. The ship's crest is on the face of the wheelhouse. A vertical format negative.
