A slightly distant port broadside view of the Canadian Pacific Steamships cruise ship Montrose (1922) at anchor in Vigo Bay, Spain. her port anchor is deployed and an accommodation ladder is rigged at the aft shell door. In the left background is the Lamport & Holt cruise ship Voltaire (1923). She is seen from off her starboard beam and is in all white livery. Her starboard anchor is hanging down below the hawse and she has an accommodation ladder rigged to the promenade deck amidships. Various local leisure craft are seen in the water in the foreground and in the middle distance on the right is a possible conversion of a fishing vessel with trellis tower and diving boards built on the after end.
