A port quarter view of the Orient Line cruise ship Orama (1924) at anchor in an unknown location.
A port quarter view, taken from fine off the stern, of the Orient Line cruise ship Orama (1924) at anchor in an unknown location. An accommodation ladder is rigged at the main deck aft. Lifeboats 4 and 16 are swung out and suspended in their falls and number 16 has been lowered to upper promenade deck level. She has a corn coloured hull. Local bumboats are surrounding the ship with their traders trying to sell their wickerwork wares. Although no location has been given it is probable that this is at one of Atlantic Islands in the Cape Verde, Canary or Azores groups.
