'Jany 13th & 14th 1854.' (62)
The page is covered with studies of various Egyptian craft, including dahabeeyahs, gyassis and nuggers. Each vessel is portrayed individually on a stretch of calm, reflecting water. Some additional figure and landscape sketches both in watercolour and pencil are added as well the dates of the sketches and a note which identifies the passengers on one of the ships as ‘soldiers’.
