A port bow view of the nuclear powered passenger/cargo ship Savannah (1962) alongside Berth 101 in the Western Docks at Southampton. The photographer is on the quayside just ahead of the bow looking along the quay showing the rail mounted crane No. 128 between shed 101 and the ship, which is dressed overall. A covered gangway leads up the main passenger lobby on A deck. Rat guards are on some of the mooring lines. The tip of the stem is out of the picture. Wettern sailed on the Savannah (1962) between Dublin, leaving on 6 July and Southampton, arriving 7 July 1964
