On board the United States Navy aircraft carrier Saratoga (1955) while under way in the Mediterranean. The photographer is on the port side of the island looking to port, down and aft showing the noses of the VAH 9 Squadron Douglas A-3B Skywarriors coded 511 and 508 in the starboard aft deck park. A portable mirror landing system is on the starboard side of the centreline and a Douglas A4-C Skyhawk is landing on.
