On board the United States Navy aircraft carrier Saratoga (1955) while anchored in the Mediterranean. The photographer is on the flight deck near the starboard forward lift looking forward and to port showing six Douglas A-4C Skyhawks of VA 34 and VA 36 Squadrons parked on the port side of the deck. Four of the aircraft are coded 612, 303, 305 and 602. An armoured hatch in the middle of the flight deck is open.
