A starboard side view, taken from abaft the beam, of the Orient Line cruise ship Orcades (1937) at anchor off Kotor, Yugoslavia. Her starboard anchor is deployed and an accommodation ladder is rigged at the aft shell door with a boat at the foot of the ladder. The ship is flying the Blue Peter from the port yardarm on the foremast and the two-flag hoist GC ( 'Have you seen or heard anything of my boat' ) at a haliard above the bridge. In the foregorund a person in walking in the water (up to his thighs) and holding a rowing boat which has one oarsman on board. Mountains rise beyond the ship on the far side of the harbour
