A starboard bow view, taken from very fine off the bow, of the Orient Line cruise ship Orcades (1937) at anchor off Kotor, Yugoslavia

A starboard bow view, taken from very fine off the bow, of the Orient Line cruise ship Orcades (1937) at anchor off Kotor, Yugoslavia, with just her starboard anchor deployed. The photographer is in a small boat just ahead of the bow and the ship's bow emblem is clearly visible on the stem. A powered harbour barge is secured at the starboard side and appears to be working stores or possibly hoses with a forward derrick at a kingpost next to the break of the forecastle. The ship is flying the Blue Peter at the port yardarm on the foremast. The horizon is not quite level. A vertical format negative.
