A close view of the port side of the Orient Line cruise ship Orcades (1937) at anchor off Kotor, Yugoslavia

A close view of the port side of the Orient Line cruise ship Orcades (1937) at anchor off Kotor, Yugoslavia. The photographer is in a small boat off the ship's port bow looking aft and to starboard. Most of the ship's side from beneath the bridge to the end of the boat deck, including the funnel, is in the picture. The detail of the ship's side plating and riveting is clearly visible and many of the portholes have wind scoops fitted. Three local rowing boats with sightseers are in the foreground close to the hull. A few passengers are on the promenade decks and two crewmen are on the port bridge wing observing the scene adjacent to the ship.
