A distant port broadside view of the Royal Navy light cruiser Tiger (1945) under way in the north Atlantic off north-west Scotland during NATO exercise Flat Rock. The guns of 'Y' turret are elevated. The Tiger (1945) was the flagship of Vice-Admiral F R Twiss who commanded a fleet of 46 ships drawn from six NATO nations for the exercise which took place in the waters off Cape Wrath and Loch Ewe between 16 and 24 October 1963.
