On board the Royal Navy aircraft carrier Ark Royal (1950) under way in the Arabian Sea during CENTO exercise Midlink VI. The photographer is on the quarterdeck (mooring deck) looking forward showing a group of seamen in front of the ship's honours board. The men have their pets with them and they are seven monkeys, two cats and two caged parrots. Negatives numbers PM7695/12, PM7695/13 and PM7695/14 are all of the same group.
