On board the Royal Navy light cruiser Lion (1944) alongside Pitch House Jetty in Portsmouth Dockyard. The photographer is on the starboard side of the signal deck about 74 station looking up and slightly aft at the foremast showing the Type 978 radar aerial on the lower platform and the Type 992 aerial at the masthead. The platform surrounding the Q1 3inch director is on the right. A badly under-exposed negative.
