A memorial board on a tree commemmorating the stationing of radio operator Meeks at Tanjung Po lighthouse, Kuching, Sarawak

A memorial board nailed to a tree near to Tanjung Po lighthouse, Kuching, Sarawak. The message on the board reads: 'R.O. Meeks P/057808 was here at Tanjong (sic) Po lighthouse in 1964 with Naval Party Kilo.' R.O. means radio officer. This was during the Indonesian confrontation which ran from 20 January 1963 to 11 August 1966.
