On board the Royal Navy riverine gunboat Skull (1963) under way near Kuching, Sarawak. The photographer is looking aft and to starboard from the cabin showing the coxswain, a leading seaman, at the wheel looking over his right shoulder. A lifering with SKULL and L.C.A. 119 on it is in the foreground. This was during the Indonesian confrontation which ran from 20 January 1963 to 11 August 1966. A vertical format negative.
