On board the Royal Navy riverine gunboat Skull (1963) under way near Kuching, Sarawak. The photographer is looking aft and to starboard from the cabin showing the coxswain, a leading seaman, at the wheel. A lifering with SKULL on it is in the foreground. This was during the Indonesian confrontation which ran from 20 January 1963 to 11 August 1966.
