On board the helicopter support ship Lofoten (1945) alongside the east wall of No. 3 basin in Devonport Dockyard. The photographer is looking forward and to port from the forward end of the flight deck alongside the tail rotor of the Westland Wessex HAS.1 helicopter XP110, coded 776/PO, which is parked on the forward part of the flight deck. Fixed to the rear face of the forward gun mounting platforms and lower deck fan vents are the three landing lights which look like roadside traffic lights.
