A starboard near broadside view, taken from abaft the beam, of the helicopter support ship Lofoten (1945) alongside the east wall of No. 3 basin in Devonport Dockyard. She has a canvas cover over her funnel which has the number 2 painted on it. The 737 Squadron Westland Wessex HAS.1 helicopter XP110, coded 776/PO, is on the forward part of the flight deck. Everything aft of her funnel is out of the picture. The photographer is on the west wall of the basin looking across the stern of the ocean minesweeper Jewel (1944).
