On board the Netherlands Navy aircraft carrier Karel Doorman (1943) under way in the North Sea off the southern Norwegian coast during the NATO exercise Pilot Light. The photographer is in the starboard aft walkway alongside the flight deck looking to port and slightly aft showing the nose of the Grumman S2-A Tracker aircraft coded 159/D just prior to touch down. The image is slightly unsharp.
