The Royal Navy light cruiser Lion (1944) alongside the Skorlergrunnskien Jetty in Bergen harbour, Norway
A starboard side view, taken from well abaft the beam, of the funnels and foremast of the Royal Navy light cruiser Lion (1944) alongside the Skorlergrunnskien Jetty in Bergen harbour, Norway, at the end of the NATO exercise Pilot Light. The photographer is on the jetty looking forward, to port and up showing the midships of the cruiser including her Q3 gun mounting and director, her funnels, the foremast and the wireless aerial spreader. Note the rampant lion logos on the gun turret and the director. The cruiser Tiger (1945) is berthed outboard of the Lion (1944).
