On board the Royal Navy type 41 frigate Lynx (1955) at Bridgetown, Barbados, with the Type 81 frigate Tartar (1960) leaving harbour.

On board the Royal Navy Type 41 frigate Lynx (1955) of the 7th Frigate Squadron (South Atlantic) while berthed in Bridgetown harbour, Barbados. The photographer is on the port side of 1 deck abreast the aft 4.5 inch gun turret looking towards the type 81 frigate Tartar (1960) which is leaving harbour. A sub-lieutenant and a signal rating are watching the Tartar (1960) as she steams slowly past. The Tartar (1960) is seen from off her port beam and her pendant number is F133. In the background is a Westfal-Larsen & Co general cargo motor ship which is probably the Siranger (1960).
