A port side view, taken from abaft the beam, of the Orient Line cruise ship Orford (1928) stopped in Hardangerfjord at Norheimsund, Norway. She has an accommodation ladder rigged at the main deck aft with a few small craft in attendance in almost flat calm conditions. She is not displaying an anchor ball daymark. Lifeboat 18 has been launched and lifeboats 8 and 10 have been swung out and are suspended in their falls at upper promenade deck level. The photographer is on shore looking over the tops of some trees.
