A port near broadside view, taken from only just ahead of the beam, of the Orient Line cruise ship Orford (1928) at anchor in an unknown Norwegian location. Her port anchor is deployed but she is not displaying the anchor ball daymark. An accommodation ladder is rigged at the main deck aft and a number of boats are alongside her hull. She is flying the Blue Peter from the starboard yardarm on the foremast and the norwegian flag from the top of the foremast. The horizon is not quite level.
