The photographer is on the starboard side of the forward superstructure looking aft and to starboard showing the midships part of the Royal Navy destroyer Diana (1952) steaming close alongside to take on bunkers. Her pendant number is D126 and a board on her bridge reads "Welcome alongside. You are the 15th ship alongside this commission and we are the bestest damn destroyer.". The refuelling hose is being hauled across to the Diana (1952). Everything forward of her bridge and aft of her 2nd funnel is out of the picture. A vertical format negative.
