She is steaming in close company with the Royal Fleet Auxiliary fleet replenishment ship Olna (1965) to take on bunkers and the photographer is on board the Olna (1965) looking to port from the upper deck amidships showing the fuel hose in position. The funnel of the Royal Fleet Auxiliary fleet replenishment ship Resource (1966) can be seen beyond the flight deck of the Eagle (1946).
