A close starboard midship view of the Royal Navy aircraft carrier Eagle (1946) under way in the English Channel during the NATO exercise Peacekeeper. Only the area between the aft end of the island and the boat crane, including the starboard aft quadruple Seacat missile launcher, is in the picture. She is steaming in close company with the Royal Fleet Auxiliary fleet replenishment ship Olna (1965) to take on bunkers and the photographer is on board the Olna (1965) looking to port from the upper deck amidships showing the fuel hose in position. The funnel of the Royal Fleet Auxiliary fleet replenishment ship Resource (1966) can be seen beyond the flight deck of the Eagle (1946).
