She is steaming in close company with the Royal Fleet Auxiliary fleet replenishment ship Olna (1965) to take on bunkers and the photographer is on board the Olna (1965) looking to port and aft from the forward superstructure showing the fuel hoses in position. The Royal Fleet Auxiliary air stores support ship Reliant (1953) is beyond the Eagle's stern. A Westland Wessex HU.5 helicopter from the Royal Fleet Auxiliary fleet replenishment ship Resource (1966) is depositing an underslung load on the Eagle's flight deck during a vertrep (vertical replenishment) serial.
