A port side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the Orient Line cruise ship Orford (1928) at anchor in Norwegian waters. Her port anchor is deployed and she has an accommodation ladder rigged to the main deck aft. The foremast derrick is swung out over the port side. Lifeboats 6 and 12 are swung out and suspended at upper promenade deck level and lifeboat 18 has been launched. There are patches of snow on the mountains in the background.
