A slightly distant starboard broadside view of the Orient Line cruise ship Orontes (1929) at anchor in Ulvikfjord, Norway. Her port anchor is deployed and she has an accommodation ladder rigged to a shell door aft of amidships. Lifeboat number 19 has been launched and the ship is flying the Blue Peter from the starboard yardarm on the foremast.. The photographer is standing beside a wooden jetty which has two rowing boats alongside it. There are patches of snow on the mountains in the background.
