A slightly distant starboard broadside view of the Orient Line cruise ship Orontes (1929) at anchor in Ulvikfjord, Norway
A slightly distant starboard very near broadside view, taken from only just abaft the beam, of the Orient Line cruise ship Orontes (1929) at anchor in Ulvikfjord, Norway. Her port anchor is deployed and she has an accommodation ladder rigged to a shell door aft of amidships with a boat alongside it. Lifeboat number 19 has been launched and the ship is flying the Blue Peter from the starboard yardarm on the foremast. The photographer is standing on the shore between two trees showing two rowing boats close inshore. There are patches of snow on the mountains in the background.
