'Ship's Cat Waterwitch, Feb 1901'

The unnamed ship's cat lying on their side with feet stretched towards the camera, on board the survey schooner HMS Waterwitch (1893). The cat's eyes are closed probably due to the bright sunlight.

The original negative envelope was labelled: 'Ship's Cat Waterwitch, Feb 1901'.
