A single silo with another cargo ship alongside it is on the right and on the hill in the right background is a radio or radar mast. The photographer is on board the Royal Navy frigate Rapid (1942) during the Maritime Air Defence Exercise Highwood which took place in the North Sea and the Norwegian Sea.
