A port broadside view of the Orient Line cruise ship Orford (1928) at anchor in a Norwegian fjord.
A slightly distant port broadside view of the Orient Line cruise ship Orford (1928) at anchor in a Norwegian fjord. She has her port anchor deployed, an accommodation ladder is rigged to the main deck aft and a ship's lifeboat is alongside the foot of the ladder. The ship is flying the Blue Peter flag at a foremast yardarm. The photographer is on the shore in a settlement showing the rocky foreshore and a rowing boat beached in the foreground, while a number of leisure craft, including rowing boats, motor launches and single masted day boats are moored just offshore. A shoreside building with a motor fishing vessel alongside is on the extreme left. There are patches of snow on the mountains in the background.
