A slightly distant port side view, taken from abaft the beam, of the Orient Line cruise ship Orford (1928) anchored in Sognefjord at Balholm, Norway. Both anchors are deployed, an accommodation ladder is rigged to the main deck aft and a boat is alongside the gangway. The Blue Peter is being flown from the fore port yardarm on the foremast. The photographer is in an elevated position on shore looking over trees on the foreshore and small boats in the anchorage.
