A port bow view, taken from wide off the bow, of the Orient Line cruise ship Orford (1928) at anchor in an unknown location. Her starboard anchor is deployed, an accommodation ladder is rigged to the main deck aft and lifeboat number 18 has been launched. Three rowing boats are close to the ship's stern. The Blue Peter is being flown from the port yardarm on the foremast.
