A port bow view of the Orient Line cruise ship Orford (1928) at moorings at Port Said, Egypt. Her starboard anchor is deployed and she has an accommodation ladder rigged from the main deck aft to a pontoon. The Blue Peter is being flown from the port yardarm on the foremast. Local craft are in the foreground and the dutch passenger liner Johan van Oldenbarnevelt (1930), also seen from off her port bow, is moored astern of the Orford. Negative number P84245 was taken on the same occasion.
