A distant port bow view, taken from wide off the bow, of the Orient Line cruise ship Orford (1928) under way in Norwegian waters.

A distant port bow view, taken from wide off the bow, of the Orient Line cruise ship Orford (1928) under way in Norwegian waters. The forward passenger tender is suspended at deck level from the derrick on the foremast and lifeboats 18 and 20 are suspended in their falls at deck level. The passengers are lining the rails, especially on the boat deck. Negatives numbers P84247 to P84251 inclusive were taken on the same occasion and the photographer is probably on another cruise ship on a reciprocal course. The negative is slightly out of focus.
