A very distant port bow view, taken from wide off the bow, of the Royal Navy Type 15 frigate Rapid (1942) under way during exercise Sally Forth in the North Sea off the Firth of Forth. Her pendant number is F138. She is serving as the sea-going training ship for artificers of HMS Caledonia. The photographer is on board the guided missile destroyer Bristol (1969).
