A slightly distant starboard bow view, taken from wide off the bow, of the Royal Navy guided missile destroyer Fife (1964) under way during exercise Sally Forth in the North Sea off the Firth of Forth. Her pendant number is D20 and she has completed a turn to starboard after crossing the stern of the photographer's ship, the guided missile destroyer Bristol (1969). The photographer is looking aft and to port from 02 deck level amidships and the Bristol's boats are in the foreground. The frigates Charybdis (1968), pendant F75, and Nubian (1960), pendant F131, are under way on a reciprocal course in the background.
