On board the Royal Navy coastal minesweeper Curzon (1954) at sea in the English Channel.

On board the Royal Navy coastal minesweeper Curzon (1954) during a traffic route patrol in the English Channel. The photographer is on the open bridge looking to starboard showing two of the crew on duty, one at the radio and one using binoculars. A signalling projector is on the bridge side screen. A small, three masted, flush decked motor vessel with an S & B logo on its funnel is off to starboard. This is believed to be the German flagged motor coaster Heinrich S (1964) and she is seen on a reciprocal course from off her starboard beam.
