On board The Royal Naval Reserve coastal minesweeper Mersey (1957) during the NATO exercise Northern Merger in the North Sea off the Danish coast. The photographer is on the port side of the forecastle deck abreast the derrick post looking aft showing the port side of the sweep deck. The twin 20 mm oerlikon mount is just abaft the funnel. A radar reflector dan marker can be seen in the water well astern of the ship.
