A close-up of the moored ship's boats off HMS Fisgard.
A view looking at the area between the tall wooden jetty (bridge) and the port side of the static artificer training ship HMS Fisgard (ex HMS Terrible, 1895). The photographer was staning in the bows of HMS Fisgard I (ex Spartiate, 1898). Three ship's boats are moored to the pontoon between the jetty and the ship. Moored in the middle distance in the very still waters off Hardway, north of Gosport is a '24'-class fleet minsweeping sloop (possibly HMS Ladas (1918) in camoflague), an Anchusa-class Q-ship and an Ascot-class paddle sweeper.
