The photographer is in the Galatea's Westland Wasp HAS.1 helicopter XT443, coded 452, which is flying alongside the ship abreast the funnel, and he is looking forward and to port. The ship's pendant number is F18, she has an Ikara anti-submarine missile system on her foredeck and a single 40 mm Bofors guns abreast her foremast. Her bow, the top of her foremast and everything abaft her foremast are out of the picture.
