A distant port very near broadside view, taken from only just ahead of the beam, of the Royal Fleet Auxiliary tanker Olwen (1964) under way on patrol in the north Atlantic within 200 miles of Iceland during the time known as the 3rd Cod War. The photographer is on board the frigate Falmouth (1959). In the left background is the frigate Leander (1961) which has been fitted with Ikara in place of her 4.5 inch gun turret and A Westland Wessex Wasp HAS.1 helicopter is in flight..
